Lynette Hall Hampton
Lynette Hall Hampton was born in the rural community of Millers Creek in Wilkes County North Carolina. She moved to Winston-Salem when she was 10. Both her parents were avid readers and passed the love of the written word on to her. She grew up reading Bible stories, comic books, Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys and an endless supply of fairy tales. In the third grade Lynette decided she was going to be a writer.
On the road to publication, Lynette has worked as a secretary, a real estate salesperson, a customer service rep and a Human resources manager for a manufacturing company. Her first book, which has recently been re-released by Alabaster Books, was FUN WITH THE BIBLE. It was followed by two other children’s books. She has taught writing classes and her book, WRITER TO WRITER, the writing book I wish I’d had 20 years ago, is based on one of those classes.
She also writes a mystery series for Silver Dagger Mysteries. The first in this series, JILTED BY DEATH was nominated in 2004 for the Sir Walter Raleigh Award given by the Historical and Literary Association of NC.
Lynette has one daughter who is married and is the mother of two children. Lynette says her main hobby is spoiling her 9 year old grandson, Trent and her 3 year old granddaughter, Blaire.
Lynette and her cat, Jefferson live in Kernersville, NC where they are working on her next novel.

FUN WITH THE BIBLE is a challenging activity book that teaches Bible history as one matches wits with the puzzles, word-find games and other though provoking activities. It is not intended that the book make a person feel they know all about the Bible, but it will give them some basic knowledge about the characters and events that the Bible contains. Though the book is written for young adults, anyone from eight to eighty will enjoy this stimulating book, and will have fun with the Bible.

They both expect to separate as soon as a doctor is found to treat her wounds, but when the angry doctor sees her injuries as a crime, they are forced to flee for their lives. Unforeseen dangers and circumstances keep throwing the unlikely twosome together. As their conflicting personalities surface, it leads the reader to wonder if this pair of opposites can ever become a duo.
